Most AI agencies are a salesperson and a Fiverr contractor with a slick logo. MagicPixel is a senior cloud and AI architect with 15+ years of enterprise experience, working directly on every project. That is not marketing — that is the operating model.
I am the founder of MagicPixel, a Calgary-based cloud and AI architect with 15+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience. Before launching MagicPixel, I spent that decade and a half architecting cloud systems, identity infrastructure, disaster recovery plans, and security postures for companies that could not afford for things to go wrong.
That includes work for S&P Global (where I supported 20,000+ users globally as a system administrator), Fully Managed (where I was an IT infrastructure consultant out of Montreal), Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (system & cloud administrator), and currently CAUSMX Technologies Corp. (where I am still serving as Cloud Infrastructure Architect while building MagicPixel on the side until the workload demands full-time focus).
I kept watching the same pattern play out: small and mid-sized Calgary businesses would talk to AI consultants, get a slide deck about "AI transformation," sign a contract, and end up with a Frankenstein automation that worked for a week then quietly fell apart. Or they would try to build it themselves with off-the-shelf tools and lose weeks fighting integrations that did not quite work.
Meanwhile, I was spending my career building exactly the kind of resilient, secure, monitored infrastructure that those automations needed underneath them. Error handling. Logging. Failover. Documentation. The boring engineering that turns a demo into a system.
MagicPixel exists because the gap between "AI demo" and "AI infrastructure" is where most Calgary SMB AI projects die. Closing that gap, for fair money, on fixed price, with a real guarantee — that is the entire product.
On every MagicPixel engagement, I personally:
English (native), Hindi (native), Gujarati (native), French (elementary).
A few things we believe that not everyone in this space believes:
An AI workflow is a piece of software that runs in production. It needs error handling, monitoring, logging, escape hatches when the model gets things wrong, and proper documentation. Most AI demos work on a Tuesday and break on a Friday because none of that exists. Ours does, because that is exactly what 15+ years of enterprise cloud work taught us to build.
The pretense that "we are a team of experts" is what makes most small agencies feel slimy. We are not pretending. There is one architect (me) and a roster of trusted contractors I have personally vetted who execute under my direction. You always know who is doing what.
Most "guarantees" in this industry are marketing copy that quietly evaporates when invoked. Ours is in the signed contract. If we miss spec, we either fix it free or refund you in full. There is no version of this where you pay for software that does not work.
Half of our free audit calls end with "you do not need us." Maybe the workflow is too simple for a custom build. Maybe the data is not clean enough yet. Maybe the budget is wrong. We say so. Wasting your time and money to win a contract is short-term thinking; pointing you toward what actually works is long-term thinking.
We are deliberately a Calgary studio. Calgary clients get priority scheduling and in-person meetings when they want them. We work remotely with clients across Canada, but if you are a 90-minute drive away in Lethbridge, we will get in the car for a meaningful meeting. The big Toronto agencies will not.
MagicPixel is the operating brand of NextPixel Inc., a Canadian federally incorporated company. All contracts are issued under NextPixel Inc. Our registered office is 330 5th Avenue SW, Suite 1800, Calgary, AB T2P 0L4.
NextPixel Inc. has been incorporated for over two years. MagicPixel launched in 2026 as our focused AI automation arm.
The plan is straightforward: become the most credible AI automation studio in Calgary first, Alberta second, Canada third. We are not chasing scale for its own sake; we are chasing depth. Better case studies, better automations, better-engineered systems — one industry at a time.
If we get there, our clients tell better stories about us than we tell about ourselves. That is the goal.
